ULTRASTAR STUDIO is a private Photo Studio, Gallery Space and production rental facility available for commercial and independent Photographers and , proudly serving the Los Angeles Photo Community for the last 10 years. We are centrally located street level, in the Hollywood Media District, on Santa Monica Blvd. a few blocks just west of Vine St., in the Los Angeles Loft Building.
Since we are right in central Hollywood, we are CLOSE and CONVENIENT to everything Photo/Film related, unlike studios in downtown or out in the Valley. Ultrastar is just a few blocks from Calumet Digital/Photo supply house and Rentals, Simons Camera/Film Supplies, PIX Camera and Equipment rentals, Mole Richardson Lighting Rentals and supply shop, and directly across the street from CastexRentals.com and Expendables Shop, for last minute equipment rentals and expendables purchasing including gaffers tape, lighting gels as well as seamless backgrounds.
Ultrastar Studio is a fully furnished studio facility, has a very warm and cozy atmosphere to it and is reminiscent of a 60s space-age bachelor pad. It is more than just a bare open warehouse/loft type space with nothing in it. Our clients love this warm atmosphere and continue to return for their photo and film related productions. We also house a variety of vintage props/furniture that are available for rent, enhancing any photo/film shoot.

ULTRASTAR STUDIO FOR CASTINGS AND REHEARSALS. We offer a casting setup with a seamless background, lights, tables and chairs, in addition to a holding area that can accommodate up to 35 people at a time.
Ultrastar is also perfect for most classes (acting, yoga, lectures, meetings, play rehearsals, script readings, etc.). We have folding chairs as well as tables, stools and couches.

GALLERY SHOWS AT ULTRASTAR. Ultrastar is also available for Art Gallery Shows. Most of the shows that we have hosted have been curated by independent artists who need a space to showcase their work, outside of the established Gallery circuit. These shows are usually short term(1 to 2 days) and are mainly intended to promote the Artist(s) thru the Opening Party and Exhibition.
